D.J. was an early pioneer in implementing accessibility features. The Walker Golf Course at Clemson University was one of the first courses to fully incorporate requirements from the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including accessible paths and tees, making it inclusive for golfers with physical disabilities.
D.J. DeVictor is a golf course and landscape architect whose career has focused on creating and improving golf experiences since the 1980s. A graduate of Ohio State University, he has co-founded several successful firms, including DeVictor Langham, Inc., and now leads DVS Design Group with partner Joe Skelton. His portfolio extends from master-planned communities across the U.S. and internationally to the personal purchase and revitalization of the Fairways of Canton Golf Club. DeVictor is also known for designing the highly-regarded Walker Golf Course at Clemson University, which has been recognized as a top collegiate course. His work is driven by a hands-on approach and a deep commitment to creating engaging and accessible layouts for golfers of all skill levels.
