Davis Love III is an acclaimed American golf course architect and champion professional golfer, born in 1964 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Love rose to prominence on the PGA Tour, with over 20 career wins, including the 1997 PGA Championship, and appearances on six Ryder Cup and six Presidents Cup teams. Beyond his playing career, Love founded Love Golf Design, alongside his brother Mark, in the 1990s. Their first course opened in South Carolina in 1997.
