Jeff Blume is an accomplished golf course architect renowned for his expertise in golf course design and land planning. Graduating from Texas A&M University in 1989 with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Blume's career began at GolfScapes, where he rapidly advanced to Project Architect, participating in the design and construction of seven courses. He further developed his craft at the firm of Robert von Hagge, overseeing projects across the United States, Japan, Mexico, and the Caribbean. In 1997, Blume founded his own firm, Jeffrey D. Blume, Limited, headquartered in Magnolia, Texas, and since then has led the design of more than fifty golf courses worldwide, including the Grand Pines Golf Club at Bentwater and renovations on award-winning courses such as The Golf Club at Texas A&M and Boiling Springs Golf Club. His ongoing commitment to the profession is reflected in his tenure as president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, as well as his contributions as a writer on golf architecture.
