Jeremy Turner is a respected English golf course architect renowned for his extensive work in Scandinavia, particularly Sweden and Norway. He began his golf architecture career in 1987, leveraging his background as a landscape architect and his lifelong passion for golf. Turner has designed or contributed to over 20 golf courses, earning a reputation for layouts that challenge skilled players while remaining enjoyable for all. His most celebrated project is Lofoten Links in Norway, a dramatic course set inside the Arctic Circle, where he collaborated closely with the Hov family from concept through gradual development—starting with six holes in 1998 and reaching a full eighteen in 2015. Turner’s work exemplifies an organic, site-sensitive approach, influenced by links traditions and local landscapes. Notably, he also crafted the prestigious Postołowo Golf Club in Poland.
