Arthur Schaupeter is a highly regarded golf course architect with over 30 years of experience shaping both new and renovated courses throughout the United States. A graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Environmental Design, Schaupeter launched his career as an apprentice and draftsman alongside Keith Foster, contributing to several notable projects before establishing his own firm, Arthur Schaupeter Golf Course Architects, in 1998. His design portfolio includes more than 100 projects, with his work recognized for creative, fun, and strategic layouts that offer golfers multiple playing options. Schaupeter's guiding principle, 'putting the golf in the golfer’s hands', has fostered critically acclaimed courses such as TPC Colorado, The Highlands of Elgin, The Club at Old Hawthorne, and Highland Meadows. In 2023, he joined Casa Verde Golf as Vice President, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in innovative, award-winning golf course architecture.
