Bob Hunt managed the rebuilding of the Brabazon Course at The Belfry, a legendary venue for the Ryder Cup.

Bob Hunt is a RIBA qualified architect with over 45 years of extensive experience specializing in golf resort masterplanning and golf course architecture. Since beginning his career in 1975, Hunt was responsible for developing what was then the largest chain of golf hotels in Europe, many of which now operate under the Marriott Resort brand. Notably, he led the project management for the iconic rebuilding of the Brabazon Course at The Belfry, which hosted the Ryder Cup. As Principal of International Design Group Ltd, Hunt oversees teams delivering golf resort and course design projects around the world, from Tobago and China to Norway and Cuba. He is deeply involved in nearly all technical aspects of golf development, providing consultancy, project management, and legal expertise in residential golf resort projects. Hunt regularly lectures globally on golf tourism and resort design, and is recognized as an international authority in both golf development and related subjects such as greenkeeping and agronomy.
