Fred Bliss is a highly respected golf course architect whose career has spanned several decades and continents. Born in the Midwest, Bliss rose to prominence as vice president and director of design at GolfPlan-Ronald Fream Design Group, working on complex projects around the world. Afterward, he established his own design company before collaborating with Johnny Miller Design, where he became vice president and director of golf design services at Tournament Players Design. Bliss’ portfolio features acclaimed courses such as Redhawk Golf Club in Temecula, Windsor Golf Club in Santa Rosa, Oakhurst Country Club in Clayton, and international venues like Royal Brunei Country Club in Borneo and Golf Du Cap d’Agde in France.
