Greg Muirhead began sketching golf holes as early as seventh grade, foreshadowing his lifelong passion and notable career in golf architecture.

Greg Muirhead is an accomplished American golf course architect recognized for his role as senior designer at Rees Jones, Inc. and his longstanding membership and presidency with the American Society of Golf Course Architects. After graduating from Ball State University with degrees in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design, he joined Rees Jones, Inc. in 1984, where he has contributed to the design or renovation of over 60 golf courses across North and South America and Asia. Muirhead's portfolio includes celebrated projects such as Bethpage Black, Ocean Forest, Nantucket Golf Club, and 3 Creek Ranch, and his work has helped prepare courses for five US Open Championships, a PGA Championship, a Ryder Cup, and a Walker Cup. Notably, he co-designed three courses named 'Best New' by Golf Digest and has had several projects host more than 65 PGA Tour events, cementing his influence on championship golf course architecture.
