Hurdzan Fry, originally the partnership of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, is internationally recognized for its influential role in modern golf course architecture. Dr. Michael Hurdzan, with over five decades in the field, and Dana Fry, himself a skilled architect and accomplished golfer, together designed a multitude of courses celebrated for their playability and environmental sensitivity. Their collaboration began in the late 1980s, culminating in numerous acclaimed projects across North America and internationally, including the famed Erin Hills in Wisconsin, host of the 2017 U.S. Open. Hurdzan Fry was notable for pioneering sustainable golf course design, blending environmental stewardship with innovative, challenging layouts.
