Mark Miller is an accomplished golf course architect and founder of Miller Design, bringing over 27 years of experience to the field. After earning a degree in landscape architecture from Texas Tech University, Miller began his career with the highly regarded Nelson & Wright team, contributing to projects across Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, and the Pacific Rim. In 1999, he established Miller Design in Seattle, later moving its headquarters to Colorado, where he continues to serve clients across the United States and internationally. Mark has played a significant role in the remodeling and creation of notable courses, including Leilehua Golf Course in Hawaii, Fort Belvoir in Virginia, and Moose Run in Alaska—frequently cited as among the top military golf courses worldwide. His design philosophy emphasizes environmental harmony, economic practicality, and long-term sustainability, drawing inspiration from both classic Irish links and contemporary ecological practices.
