Together with his family, Manning founded The Legacy Golf Club, an 18-hole championship public course just south of Des Moines. The club, which opened on May 23, 2002, was the second public golf course project led by the Manning family. Designed in collaboration with Golfscapes, Inc. and architect Jeffrey D. Brauer, The Legacy is praised for its manicured bentgrass fairways, forgiving layout, and strategic design which offers challenges for experienced players while remaining accessible for golfers of all skill levels.
