Olivier Brizon is a renowned French golf course architect celebrated for his contributions to course design across Europe and the Caribbean. Born in Bordeaux, France, Brizon has built or contributed to the creation of over a dozen golf courses throughout Europe, emphasizing memorable layouts where every hole leaves a lasting impression. His work is characterized by an eloquent combination of aesthetic beauty and challenging play, as exemplified by his early design of the UGOLF Rosny-sous-Bois near Paris and his role in developing the original three nine-hole courses at Golf des Aisses, which helped establish it as a unique heather-based course in France. Brizon has also left a significant mark internationally as Director of Golf at La Cana Golf Course in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where he has been an integral presence since the course’s early days.
