Ron Garl is a distinguished American golf course architect, celebrated for designing and remodeling over 250 courses worldwide since beginning his career in 1962. Known for innovation and versatility, Garl's courses are spread across 18 US states, with a remarkable concentration in Florida—over 100 courses—making him one of the most prolific architects in the state. He is best known for creating Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club, the world’s first replica golf course, integrating tribute holes from renowned courses such as Augusta, St. Andrews, and Royal Troon. Garl champions environmentally sustainable designs, as shown through Indian River Club, the first to achieve Audubon International's top award for environmental stewardship.
