Stanley Pasarell transitioned from being an internationally known tennis player to a prominent golf resort developer, co-creating one of Puerto Rico’s most luxurious and environmentally conscious golf courses.
Stanley Pasarell is a Puerto Rican tennis player, golf course architect and entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder and driving force behind Royal Isabela Golf Resort in Puerto Rico. While more widely recognized for his earlier achievements in world-class tennis, Pasarell's later passion for golf led him, alongside his brother Charlie, to conceptualize and develop Royal Isabela—an ambitious, environmentally integrated golf resort perched on dramatic coastal cliffs.
Guided by a philosophy of minimal environmental impact, the brothers collaborated with renowned architect David Pfaff and prioritized the preservation of indigenous flora, sustainable practices, and community engagement. Royal Isabela has set new standards for luxury golf and ecological stewardship in Puerto Rico, serving as both a legacy project and a testament to the Pasarell family's longstanding respect for their island’s landscape and heritage. Stanley's work has positioned Royal Isabela as a unique, world-class golf destination, blending challenging play with extraordinary natural beauty.
