Caddie Tip
Play for position off the tee—many holes reward accuracy over length due to doglegs and elevation changes. Pay special attention to wind in the canyon; it swirls unpredictably and can influence club selection, especially on the dramatic par-3 6th. Greens are quick and tend to break toward the river—read putts carefully.
The Main Challenge
The course’s toughest aspect is the combination of narrow, tree-lined fairways and significant elevation changes, which demand accuracy off the tee and careful club selection. The swirling canyon winds contribute another layer of challenge, especially on exposed holes by the river, where misjudged shots can be severely penalized.
