Course Report

Cordoba Golf Club is the home club of both Ángel Cabrera, the only Argentine ever to crack the world golf Top Ten, and Eduardo Romero, winner of nine European Tour titles.

About

Cordoba Golf Club is a highly rated 18-hole parkland course designed by Héctor Bozzachi in 1922, located in Villa Allende at the foot of the Sierras Chicas. Known for its gently undulating terrain and tree-lined fairways, the club is home to Argentine golf legends Eduardo Romero and Angel Cabrera. Modern renovations have enhanced its standing among the country's best.

Caddie Tip

Greens are notoriously tricky and fast. Approach shots must be positioned below the hole to avoid difficult downhill putts. Focus on local knowledge for green breaks and subtle undulations that frequently surprise new visitors.

The Main Challenge

The toughest aspect is the demanding green complexes, where steep slopes and quick speeds make short game precision essential. Many holes include subtle fairway undulations and elevation changes plus strategic bunkers that punish errant shots.

The Good

Golfers admire the challenging, undulating greens and strategic design that demands thoughtful shotmaking. The course has a warm club atmosphere and is known for excellent maintenance year-round. Views of the Sierras Chicas and classic clubhouse provide memorable ambiance.

The Not So Good

Most common criticisms revolve around the greens being extremely punishing for missed approaches. Some also mention that weekend access can be restricted for non-members and more signage for newcomers would be helpful.
