Course Report
The clubhouse offers stunning panoramic views from its 2,000 square meter rooftop, overlooking most of the course and the largest lake.
About
Fazenda da Grama Golf Club, designed by Brian Costello of JMP Golf Design Group, is a private, luxury residential club in São Paulo state featuring a well-rated, open parkland layout with undulating terrain, strong architectural variety, and panoramic countryside views. Access is restricted to members and their guests.
Caddie Tip
Approach par 5s with strategic caution; their undulating fairways offer eagle chances but punish aggressive play. The 16th requires precise club selection and wind awareness, while the 17th’s lake demands conservative lines off the tee.
The Main Challenge
The four par 5s present the sternest tests, each featuring risk-reward routing and dramatic elevation changes that punish poor judgement. The 16th and 17th holes, with wind exposure and water hazards, offer some of the most demanding shots and scoring swings.
The Good
Golfers rate the layout highly for its strategic design and beautiful variety of undulation, especially on the par 5s. Panoramic views from several vantage points and the welcoming clubhouse atmosphere are consistently praised by members.
The Not So Good
Guests and some members note limited outside access, leading to a less dynamic playing environment and fewer new faces. Occasional weather or irrigation issues may also briefly affect fairway and rough conditions mid-summer.
Signature Hole:
#
16
The 16th is a remarkably challenging par 3, stretching 216 yards. Players contend with prevalent backing winds, making club selection and trajectory vital. This visually striking hole blends demanding length with tough green-side defense, creating one of the most memorable tests on the course.
Clubhouse
Members enjoy a full bar, restaurant, locker rooms, sauna, pro shop, pool, and heliport. The expansive clubhouse balcony offers a social atmosphere and panoramic views over the valley and lakes.
Practice Facilities
A spacious driving range, well-maintained chipping and putting greens, and readily available golf carts and trolleys provide strong practice opportunities for honing every part of the game.
