Caddie Tip
Conservative course management is rewarded here; approach shots below the hole are often best, as many greens slope away or have tricky contours. Pay close attention to pin placement and elevation changes, especially on the par 3s. Par 5s may be reachable, but short par 4s and the demanding greens can turn easy pars into bogeys if you get careless.
The Main Challenge
The toughest challenge at Louisville Country Club is its combination of undulating greens and several forced carries, particularly on par 3s like the signature ninth. Precision iron play and smart tee shot placement are essential, as errant shots can lead to difficult recovery situations and demanding up-and-downs.
