Minnesota National Golf Club (Championship) is a Joel Goldstrand design nestled in the Northwoods of northern Minnesota. The 18-hole championship layout stretches to 7,230 yards and features meticulously maintained bentgrass fairways, tees, and greens. Known for a tranquil, scenic setting surrounded by native beauty and abundant wildlife, the course delivers strategic challenge combined with excellent conditions for golfers of all abilities.
Caddie Tip
Stay below the hole on approach shots, as the bentgrass greens tend to be quick and well-contoured. Use the GPS cart features to plan shots, and don't underestimate the challenge posed by the well-placed bunkers and wooded areas. Course management is especially important on the longer par 4s and the finishing stretch.
The Main Challenge
The toughest stretch involves long par 4s and demanding tee shots where tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and water hazards come into play. The closing holes, particularly 16 through 18, test accuracy and course management, requiring confident decision-making and quality ball striking to score well.

Practice Facilities
Expect a full practice range with bentgrass tees, a spacious putting green, and a dedicated short game area. Instruction is available from a dedicated teaching professional. The facility also offers well-maintained rental equipment and modern GPS-equipped carts.
