Graham Marsh is an acclaimed Australian golfer and golf course architect, renowned for both his successful playing career and his global influence in golf design. Born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia in 1944, Marsh’s professional golf achievements include over 70 tournament victories worldwide and major wins on the US Senior Tour, notably the 1997 U.S. Senior Open and 1999 Tradition. Pivoting to design in 1986, he founded Graham Marsh Golf Design, initially focusing on Australia and Japan but eventually taking on projects across Asia, Europe, and the United States. His portfolio features notable courses such as Sutton Bay (South Dakota), Prairie Club (Nebraska), The Vines Resort (Perth), and Palm Meadows (Gold Coast). Known for championship-caliber layouts that challenge elite players, Marsh’s designs are praised for adapting to diverse landscapes. He has been recognized for his service to golf with the MBE in 1984 and is regarded as a trailblazer in the golf world.
