Martin Ebert is a highly respected golf course architect and principal at Mackenzie & Ebert, a firm renowned for its expert work on many of the UK’s finest courses. After graduating from Cambridge University, where he was twice a Cambridge golf Blue, Ebert launched his career in 1990 under the mentorship of Donald Steel. His background in engineering and lifelong passion for golf have driven his innovative course designs. Ebert has advised six of the ten current Open Championship venues and is most acclaimed for his role in revamping Royal Portrush ahead of the 2019 Open Championship.
