About

3 Creek Ranch Golf Club is a private, member-owned course designed by Rees Jones and set on over 400 acres at the base of the Tetons. The 18-hole championship layout offers stunning mountain views, expansive natural terrain, and a challenging design that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Known for its tranquility and wildlife, it is regarded as one of Wyoming’s finest private courses.

Caddie Tip

Pay attention to subtle elevation changes and swirling valley winds that can alter club selection, especially on approach shots. On doglegs, consider course routing and avoid challenging the many natural hazards—play smart and err on the safe side for best results.

The Main Challenge

The greatest challenge at 3 Creek Ranch comes from its length, ever-present wind, and natural hazards such as wetlands and water features guarding greens and fairways. Strategic club selections are critical—errant shots can quickly find trouble, and recovery isn’t always possible, especially as the back nine introduces more water.

The Good

The best part of 3 Creek Ranch is its remarkable scenery, with unobstructed views of the Teton Range from nearly every hole. Members praise the tranquility and immersion in nature, where play is often accompanied by the sights and sounds of Wyoming wildlife. The routing makes you feel secluded and connected to the outdoors.

The Not So Good

Some members and guests feel that the course, while impeccably maintained, can be overly challenging for higher handicappers due to forced carries and the length from many tee boxes. The remote club location can also make access slightly less convenient for some.

Clubhouse

The Clubhouse offers luxury locker rooms, fine dining with views of the Tetons, lounges, a fitness center, tennis courts, and a 75-foot heated pool. Members also enjoy access to a nordic track, fishing creeks, and a range of social activities and wellness programs.
