Blackstone Golf Club Icheon is an exclusive and prestigious club set in the hilly landscapes east of Seoul. This Brian Costello (JMP Design) layout features 27 holes with tree-lined fairways, dramatic stone outcrops, and water hazards, all framed by forested glens. The stunning clubhouse and world-class facilities combine with strategic design to challenge and reward golfers of all levels.
Caddie Tip
Local caddies recommend conservative play on water-lined holes and favor clubbing up on uphill approaches. Pay close attention to elevation changes and reads, as breaking slopes and false fronts are common. Green speeds vary but play fast, so aggressive putting is risky.
The Main Challenge
Blackstone’s toughest test lies in its combination of elevation changes, strategically placed water hazards, and narrow, tree-lined fairways. Many holes demand risk-reward decision-making, especially on forced carries and greens guarded by bunkers, making accuracy and course management essential to scoring well.
