Course Report

The course boasts the largest single green in the world at 58,000 square feet, providing a unique putting experience unlike anywhere else.

About

The Address Montgomerie Dubai, designed by Colin Montgomerie and Desmond Muirhead, is a renowned links-land style course in Emirates Hills. Spanning 265 acres with 14 lakes and 81 bunkers, the course is famous for challenging layouts and lush conditions, appealing to players of all skill levels in a luxurious Dubai setting.

Caddie Tip

Be mindful of wind on approach shots and use the generous landing areas to position yourself before attacking the greens. Pay special attention to the subtle contours on and around the enormous putting surfaces, especially when flag placements are tucked. On the 4th, play conservatively off the tee to keep water hazards out of play.

The Main Challenge

The toughest part of The Address Montgomerie Dubai is negotiating its expansive, undulating greens and the many strategically placed bunkers that defend both landing areas and putting surfaces. Water hazards come into play on multiple holes, demanding course management and shot precision throughout the round.

The Good

Golfers love the course’s visually dramatic bunkering, creative green complexes, and abundant water features. The overall feel is one of luxury and tranquility, sheltered from the bustle of Dubai. Many rave about the challenge and variety provided by the undulating links-land fairways set against manicured landscape gardens.

The Not So Good

Some golfers feel summer conditioning can suffer under Dubai’s heat, with greens becoming slower and some fairways showing wear. Pace of play can be affected during peak times. Additionally, many request greater value for the premium green fee, especially during high season.

Signature Hole:

Other notable holes include the par 3 13th, shaped like the UAE with an island fairway and green and a 360-degree teeing area
