Course Report

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley became the first Canadian course to join the PGA Tour's TPC network and will host the RBC Canadian Open in both 2025 and 2026.

About

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley North is one of three top-ranked courses at this destination, designed by Doug Carrick and renowned for its welcoming parkland layout, generous fairways, and modern amenities. The North is hosting the 2025 and 2026 RBC Canadian Open, following significant upgrades, and promises a championship-caliber experience blended with Canadian hospitality.

Caddie Tip

Favor positioning on the correct side of fairways, as wide corridors can be misleading — several doglegs and sensitive bunkering especially on par 4s reward precise placement over distance. On the 18th, play for a controlled approach shot to avoid deep traps.

The Main Challenge

The toughest stretch is the closing holes, especially 16–18, which demand accuracy off the tee and strategic approaches into well-protected greens. The North’s finishing par 4 is especially challenging under tournament pressure, with out-of-bounds and bunkering framing the dramatic final shots.

The Good

Golfers consistently praise the North course for its welcoming layout, generous fairways, and outstanding overall conditioning. The new clubhouse facilities and elevated resort experience make it a standout for Canadian golf, especially with the upgraded experience for major championships.

The Not So Good

Players sometimes mention that, despite strong design, the setting can lack the visual drama of the Heathlands course. Some also note pace of play can suffer on peak weekend mornings due to high interest after recent accolades and events.
