Course Report
TPC Treviso Bay is the only TPC course in Florida that features a bundled equity golf membership with community home ownership.
About
TPC Treviso Bay, designed by Arthur Hills in collaboration with Hal Sutton, is a TOUR-caliber 18-hole course in Naples, Florida. Featuring dramatic mounding, expansive water hazards, and Sea-Isle Supreme Paspalum Bermuda grass, it offers a challenging, visually impressive layout adjacent to Rookery Bay Reserve. With modern practice facilities and abundant amenities, it blends PGA TOUR standards with upscale Florida golf living.
Caddie Tip
Play conservatively on holes with significant water hazards, especially on the closing stretch where trouble lurks left and right. The fairways appear generous, but approaches require precision due to false fronts and runoffs around the greens. Rely on the practice range's target greens before the round to get a good feel for approach distances.
The Main Challenge
The toughest challenge is navigating the numerous water hazards and well-protected greens, especially on the back nine where strategic play is essential. Elevated greens and spectator mounding add difficulty to approaches and recovery shots. The finishing stretch from 16 to 18 requires nerve and shot-making skill, testing even accomplished players.
The Good
Golfers rave about the pristine playing conditions, scenic holes adjacent to the Rookery Bay Reserve, and the social atmosphere that comes from the community's bundled golf membership. The expansive modern practice facilities, coupled with attentive staff, help create an all-around enjoyable club experience for members and their guests.
The Not So Good
Some guests note that pace of play can slow during busy periods, especially when member demand is high or after heavy rain. A few golfers mention the course can be challenging for higher handicaps, due to the abundance of water and forced carries. More tee options could make it even more accessible.
Signature Hole:
#
18
The par-4 18th hole at TPC Treviso Bay is a memorable finishing hole framed by water and dramatic spectator mounding. A well-struck tee shot must avoid lakes on the left, setting up a demanding approach to a green guarded by bunkers and water. Its visual appeal and challenging design create an excellent end to the round.
Clubhouse
The main clubhouse offers upscale dining overlooking the 9th and 18th greens, a pro shop, locker rooms, lounge areas, and banquet facilities. A modern fitness center, resort-style pool, spa, tennis center, and social spaces are available throughout the Treviso Bay community.
Practice Facilities
TPC Treviso Bay features TOUR-level practice amenities including a grass driving range, chipping and pitching greens, and a putting green. Several target greens and bunkers offer variety for every aspect of the game. Professional instruction and club fittings are available on-site for members.
