Course Report

Twin Warriors is routed around 20 ancient cultural sites and incorporates sacred land features unique to the Santa Ana Pueblo.

About

Twin Warriors Golf Club is a championship Gary Panks Signature design routed through high desert landscape and sacred cultural sites in the Rio Grande Valley. Known for its strategic layout, natural beauty, and views of the Sandia Mountains, it has hosted multiple professional events and is renowned as one of New Mexico's best courses.

Caddie Tip

Keep tee shots controlled and below the wind—desert breezes and elevation changes can exaggerate mishits. Focus on club selection when approaching elevated greens, and avoid going long to minimize the risk of tough recovery shots from desert arroyos and native areas.

The Main Challenge

The greatest challenge at Twin Warriors is managing the strategy and difficulty of playing through desert arroyos, elevated greens, and frequent elevation shifts. The final holes are long and exposed to wind, demanding accuracy and control off the tee and into firm, fast greens surrounded by natural hazards.

The Good

Golfers consistently praise the incredible desert scenery and views of the Sandia Mountains as highlights. The combination of natural landforms, arroyos, and cultural features offers a visually stunning round. Memorable finishing holes, immaculate greens, and the genuine sense of place make for a standout New Mexico experience.

The Not So Good

Some players report inconsistent conditioning during peak summer, especially with rough grass and bunker maintenance. Desert wind can also increase challenge and slow pace. Improvement in pacing and enhanced amenities at the comfort stations are common points of feedback.
