Ross Perrett is an acclaimed Australian golf course architect, planner, and landscape architect with a career spanning over 30 years and more than 80 courses worldwide. Originally trained in architecture and landscape design at the University of Melbourne, Perrett became a partner in the influential firm Thomson, Wolveridge & Perrett after joining forces with five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson in the 1980s. His work is recognized for tackling diverse and challenging environments, from rice paddies and deserts to marine parks and volcanic slopes, throughout Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Perrett’s signature project is the Legends Course at Moonah Links, frequently ranked among Australia’s top courses. Following Peter Thomson’s retirement and passing, Perrett continued innovating, forming Perrett Webb Golf Architects with LPGA hall-of-famer Karrie Webb. The firm is noted for upholding both the traditions of golf and environmental stewardship, with recent projects including the renovation of Indooroopilly Golf Club and Delhi’s Qutub public course.
