Course Report

TPC Las Vegas has been featured in video games, including Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2001, and is a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

About

TPC Las Vegas is a premier desert-style public course designed by Bobby Weed and Raymond Floyd, featuring narrow fairways, bold elevation changes, and spectacular vistas of Red Rock Canyon. Former host of PGA TOUR and Champions Tour events, it sits minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and is lauded for first-class service and tournament-caliber conditions.

Caddie Tip

Manage your club selection carefully—narrow fairways, elevation changes, and desert carries demand precision off the tee. Play conservatively on approach shots when faced with deep canyons, and leave yourself below the hole on quick, undulating greens to avoid tricky downhill putts.

The Main Challenge

The greatest challenge lies in the narrow, sloping fairways and frequent forced carries over natural desert arroyos. Bold bunkering, elevation changes, and the swirling desert wind test accuracy and shotmaking, especially on exposed holes. Missed fairways often result in challenging recovery shots from rugged terrain.

The Good

Golfers love the challenge from championship tees, stellar course conditioning, and the panoramic Red Rock Canyon views. The PGA TOUR-owned, pro-level service and immaculate practice facilities make every round feel special, while strategic desert hole designs keep even experienced players thoroughly engaged.

The Not So Good

Pace of play can be inconsistent at peak times due to the challenging layout. Some golfers desire more affordable green fee options, and the severity of desert carries can discourage higher-handicap players. Cart-only play is often enforced, limiting walkers who wish for more traditional rounds.

Signature Hole:

#

2

No items found.

The signature hole is the par 3 2nd, known as “Canyon,” requiring nearly a 200-yard carry over rugged desert to an island-like green set amidst the natural canyon. Players face a visually intimidating tee shot with little room for error and one of the most dramatic backdrops on the property.

Clubhouse

No items found.

The modern clubhouse features a pro shop with PGA-quality merchandise, upscale locker rooms, banquet and meeting rooms, a full-service restaurant/bar, and scenic patio. Locker rentals and shower facilities are available, with attentive staff providing first-class hospitality throughout.

Practice Facilities

No items found.

The course offers expansive, well-maintained practice facilities including a full grass driving range with target greens, short game area, putting green, and professional instruction. All facilities reflect PGA TOUR standards, making them ideal for warmups or extended practice before a round.
